The One Ocean Concert Series, rooted in Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed principles, celebrates the unifying force of the arts and their ability to inspire harmony, empathy, and collective upliftment.<\/p>\n<p>The welcome address drew from the Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed writings, noting that human diversity\u2014like musical notes\u2014forms a perfect chord when blended with unity and purpose. Art, it emphasised, is \u201ca gift of the Holy Spirit,\u201d capable of uplifting both individuals and societies.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Kazem Samandari, Co-Founder of the Trajectories of Hope Foundation, said: \u201cThis concert is more than a performance; it is a reminder that culture and music can dissolve boundaries. Today, as ambassadors, artists, and citizens sit together, we witness the real meaning of unity in diversity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Christine Samandari, Co-Founder of the Foundation, added: \u201cThe Lotus Temple welcomes every heart. In a world of growing differences, platforms like the One Ocean Concert remind us of our shared humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vicki Bedi, direct descendant of Guru Nanak and distinguished philanthropist, said: \u201cThe Lotus Temple embodies the spirit of universality. Tonight, the music echoed Guru Nanak\u2019s message \u2014 that all beings are one, and that harmony is our natural state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Sanjay Verma, member of UPSC and cultural patron, said: \u201cGatherings like this create a powerful bridge between communities and nations. The language of music speaks to every heart, and tonight, it united us effortlessly.\u201d He added: \u201cThe performance\u2019s visual dimension was defined by the incredible backdrop of the Lotus Temple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The evening featured an exceptional performance by Pandit Shubhendra Rao and Maestro Saskia Rao-de Haas, accompanied by Zuheb Ahmed and Zaheen Khan on tabla. Organised in collaboration with the Trajectories of Hope Foundation, the concert filled the iconic marble hall with meditative classical melodies.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-89754 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/prevalentindia.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/PNN-2025-11-17T145150117.jpg\" alt=\"Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\"><\/p>\n<p>Pandit Shubhendra Rao \u2014 a prot\u00e9g\u00e9 of Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar \u2014 was celebrated for continually expanding the boundaries of Indian classical music. Saskia Rao-de Haas, creator of the Indian cello, received admiration for her innovation and her cross-cultural artistic mastery.<\/p>\n<p>Distinguished diplomats, cultural leaders, prominent writers, and personalities from Delhi\u2019s artistic community attended the event.
