Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 26:\u00a0<\/strong> Cricket star <\/span>Shreyas Iyer<\/b> bowled over hearts off the pitch at the <\/span>Go Dharmic Mumbai Gala 2025<\/b>, held at the MCA Club, BKC. By generously donating his <\/span>cricket jersey<\/b> for auction.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shreyas Iyer\u2019s generous jersey donation was one of the highlights of the evening\u2019s auction, which together raised a remarkable \u00a320,000 to support Go Dharmic\u2019s humanitarian work.<\/b><\/p>\n

His act of kindness lit up the evening and inspired guests to give wholeheartedly.<\/span><\/p>\n

The gala, marking <\/span>Go Dharmic\u2019s 5th anniversary<\/b>, brought together <\/span>over 170 guests<\/b> for a unique evening themed <\/span>\u201cGarba for Good.\u201d<\/span><\/i> Guests enjoyed a night of live music, energetic Garba dancing, a <\/span>100% vegan feast<\/b>, and a charity auction that reflected the power of compassion in action.<\/span><\/p>\n

The evening was inaugurated by the <\/span>Founder of Go Dharmic, Hanuman Dass<\/b>, who reminded everyone of Go Dharmic\u2019s mission of <\/span>love in action.<\/span><\/i> A soulful performance by <\/span>singer Mahavir Shah<\/b> uplifted spirits and set the perfect tone for the Navratri festivities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Founder <\/span>Hanuman Dass shared, <\/b>\u201cSeeing so many people come together to dance, celebrate, and give selflessly for others fills my heart with gratitude. The Mumbai Gala shows that when compassion unites us, we can create a kinder world for everyone.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Ravichandran Ashwin, the Indian cricketer, added a special touch with the donation of a cricket ball, while Sheena Randerwala\u2019s paintings became a highlight. Supporters from the UK, US, and the global trading industry came together to enjoy garba and celebrate a meaningful cause, blending sport, art, culture, and philanthropy in true spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eric Ollerenshaw, former MP for Lancaster and Fleetwood, joined alongside Keeya Khanna, Anissha Bharalawalaa, and Rajdeep Choudhary, highlighting the spirit of community and unity of purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our CSR partners and donors, including Uday Gosalia (USA), Rama Pillai (Singapore), Trading Technology, Rajeev Agrawal of ARB, and CME Group, came together in generous support of Go Dharmic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Actress <\/span>Keeya Khanna<\/b> added, <\/span>\u201cThe name Go Dharmic itself is so beautiful. It reminds us to go back to our roots, and with such a meaningful cause, I feel truly grateful to be here. Like-minded people coming together, celebrating Garba, and participating in an auction for a greater good is simply amazing. The funds raised will strengthen Go Dharmic\u2019s global projects, including <\/span>feeding thousands of hungry people, supporting children\u2019s education, planting trees, and delivering relief in disaster-hit and war-affected regions.<\/b><\/p>\n

The charity currently serves <\/span>over 50,000 meals monthly<\/b> across the UK and leads initiatives in <\/span>India, Nepal, Morocco, Lebanon, Uganda, Nigeria, Cuba, and Ukraine.<\/b><\/p>\n
