July 10, 2025, will be remembered as a deeply special Guru Purnima\u2014honouring both lineage and legacy.<\/p>\n<p>On the eve of Guru Purnima, a\u00a0<strong>full-length documentary film<\/strong>\u00a0was launched on\u00a0<strong>Swami Vishnudevananda Giri<\/strong>, the younger brother of Morari Bapu\u2019s grandfather Tribhuvana Das Bapu. Known widely as \u201c<strong>Bade Maharaj<\/strong>,\u201d he was the\u00a0<strong>6th Peethadheeshwar of Kailash Ashram, Rishikesh<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mandaleshwar of Kailash Math, Kashi<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>head of the Varah Soron temple<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Acharya Mahamandaleshwar of the Niranjani Akhara<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The film traces his inspiring life\u2014from his early childhood in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat, to his spiritual awakening and Sanskrit mastery in Baroda and Kashi, and ultimately, to Rishikesh, where he received\u00a0<em>Paramhans Sannyas Diksha<\/em>. His meteoric rise in the spiritual world earned him titles such as\u00a0<strong>Vidya Vachaspati<\/strong>\u2014a distinction conferred both by his gurus and the\u00a0<strong>Government of India<\/strong>.
