Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 4:<\/strong> <\/span>A brand-new 200 MW fully automated solar module manufacturing facility is being established in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, by\u00a0Multi Infrastructure & Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (Multi Infra)<\/a>. They have also announced the launch of their dedicated solar brand,\u00a0Multi Solar.<\/p>\n

The new facility is expected to start in\u00a0November 2025\u00a0and will produce high-efficiency\u00a0Mono PERC\u00a0and\u00a0TOPCon\u00a0solar modules. They would align with India\u2019s vision to accelerate domestic solar manufacturing and energy independence. This initiative will directly create 150+ green-tech jobs and support over 500 indirect employment opportunities through a local supply chain.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis facility marks a significant step toward our commitment to building India\u2019s clean energy future. Our goal is to empower the renewable ecosystem with world-class technology made in India,\u201d said Anuj Kumar Kajla, Managing Director, Multi Infra.<\/p>\n

Key features\u00a0of the Multi-Solar Plant include the capacity of\u00a0200 MW\u00a0per year (scalable to 500 MW in Phase II). This uses Mono PERC and advanced TOPCon modules. The\u00a0certifications include\u00a0BIS, IEC, and ALMM\u00a0compliance from day one. Apart from this, it is promising 150+ skilled direct jobs and 500+ indirect roles. With up to\u00a0220,000 tonnes of CO\u2082 emissions avoided annually, equal to planting over\u00a010 million trees\u00a0each year.<\/p>\n

Strategic Partnership with Central Electronics Limited (CEL)<\/p>\n

Multi Infra has signed a long-term technology partnership with Central Electronics Limited (CEL), a Mini Ratna PSU under the Government of India. Through this partnership, Multi Solar\u2019s capabilities in high-performance solar technology are strengthened by utilising CEL\u2019s decades of R&D experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur partnership with CEL strengthens our push into cutting-edge module technologies like TOPCon and bifacial, guaranteeing unparalleled quality and dependability,\u201d stated Ashok Kumar Chaudhary, Director of Multi Infra.<\/p>\n

The official\u00a0MoU between Multi Infra and CEL\u00a0was exchanged on\u00a0June 26, 2025, in the presence of Hon\u2019ble Chief Minister\u00a0Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji. The project aligns with the state\u2019s broader solar vision and India\u2019s national goal of installing 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.<\/p>\n

The Sahibabad facility will also act as a catalyst for developing local talent through Skill India\u2013linked training programmes and promote regional industrial growth in solar frames, junction boxes, and logistics.<\/p>\n
