New Delhi [India], December 21: <\/strong>The World Economic Forum\u2019s Annual Meeting, scheduled for January 20 to 24, 2025, in Davos, Switzerland, will feature Karanvir Singh, Chairman of Visionum Group and the \u201cVoice of India.\u201d Singh will highlight the transformative role of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n

SHGs, primarily led by women, drive progress in poverty alleviation (SDG 1), gender equality (SDG 5), and climate action (SDG 13) through microcredit, entrepreneurship, and sustainable practices. Many SHGs contribute to responsible consumption (SDG 12) with activities like organic farming and eco-friendly crafts.<\/p>\n
