Not only did it present a global perspective, but it also highlighted the diverse regional traditions from India\u2019s North, West, South, and East, illustrating the country\u2019s vibrant textile diversity.A highlight of the evening was a special segment dedicated to Jharkhand, which honored the state\u2019s Indigenous tribes with a stunning display of traditional fabrics and a captivating theatrical performance. This segment served as a powerful tribute to Jharkhand\u2019s cultural pride, aiming to foster cross-cultural appreciation and celebrate the timeless traditions of Indigenous peoples worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The event was inaugurated by Dishom Guru Shibu Soren and Governor of Jharkhand Sh. Santosh Gangwar, setting the stage for an evening filled with cultural splendor. The event\u2019s crowning moments were graced by the presence of the honourable Chief Minister Sh. Hemant Soren. Also present on the occasion were Tribal development minister Sh. Dipak Barua, Hon\u2019ble minister Sh. Hafizul Hasan \u00a0and Hon\u2019ble MLA Kalpana Murmu Soren. Their attire, crafted by four esteemed local labels\u2014Jharkhand Rajya Khadi Gramodyog Board, Jharcraft, Jobaha, and the host brand Johargram\u2014brought the exquisite craftsmanship of tribal textiles into the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>Bringing together leading names from the fashion industry, the event was a collaborative effort by designers, show directors, fashion choreographers, stylists, and tribal models. It was a masterful confluence of theatre, art, and music, all within the historic walls of the Birsa Munda Museum in Ranchi\u2014a fitting tribute to the rich heritage of tribal communities.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme, \u2018Celebration of World and Indian Tribes,\u2019 guided the event\u2019s narrative, taking the audience on a poignant journey that challenged stereotypes and empowered the global tribal community.
