Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], July 13: Anandam Parivar planted more than 2,11,000 saplings at the Anandam Oxygen Park in Jaspur as part of the ‘Gandhinagar Lok Sabha, Hariyali Lok Sabha’ campaign being carried out under the guidance of Union Home Minister and Gandhinagar MP Amit Shah.
The large-scale plantation drive forms part of the broader ‘Mission 5 Million Trees’ initiative, which was inaugurated by Amit Shah in Ahmedabad on Sunday to expand the city’s green cover and promote environmental conservation through extensive tree plantation.

The plantation at Anandam Oxygen Park is aimed at strengthening biodiversity, improving air quality and creating a sustainable green ecosystem for future generations. The drive is one of several initiatives being implemented by Anandam Parivar to support ecological restoration and climate resilience across Gandhinagar Lok Sabha.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Patel, Founder of Anandam Parivar, said, “Tree plantation is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect the environment and improve the quality of life for future generations. We are pleased to contribute to the ‘Gandhinagar Lok Sabha, Hariyali Lok Sabha’ campaign through the plantation of more than 2.11 lakh saplings at Anandam Oxygen Park. Such initiatives strengthen green cover and encourage greater public participation in environmental conservation.”

The Oxygen Park at Jaspur is part of Anandam Parivar’s wider environmental programme, which includes scientifically planned oxygen parks at Lapkaman and Dantali. Together, these projects are designed to improve biodiversity, support ecological balance and create greener public spaces while generating long-term environmental, social and educational benefits.
In May, Amit Shah dedicated the restored Anandam Jedva Lake at Vadsar, a 21-acre environmental restoration project developed by Anandam Parivar at a cost of Rs. 18.71 crore over three years. The project focuses on water conservation, ecological restoration and sustainable urban development, and forms part of the organisation’s integrated approach towards the conservation of water, land, air and biodiversity.
